Dr.Mrigna Nagraj

Dr.Mrigna Nagraj studied from Brazil and once on the medical team for Common Wealth Games 2010. Her first-hand experience in caring for her grandmother who had Alzheimer’s has instilled her with a unique. Passion and empathy for the elderly that proved to be turning point in her life.
This happened when she started living with her grandmother and realized we were not equipped to take adequate care of her.This was an unaddressed health care issue in India. it was a gap that Dr. Nagraj felt she could fill.are.

Taking First Hand care of her Grand Mother, who is still fighting with Dementia has helped her to understand their Needs, concerns and problems the elderly across the country probably face as well, she thought. This hypothesis was validated over a period of time as she saw far too many old and lonely people. We noticed how parents, often of NRI children were, simply put, bored. All they required was company and some basic help in monitoring their health. But children were often clueless about how to provide that support. Now she is working in Elder Care Industry for past 4 Years and has made a niche in the hearts of people she is associate with.

Yukti Joneja

Yukti Joneja has an MBA in health care management from Dibrugarh university and a Bachelors in Pharmacy from Pune university. She has worked in the elder care industry for Four and a half years. As an elder care specialist she has provided dementia care and intellectual companionship to elderly. She has headed the Pune branch for Epoch Elder Care in the capacity of a care manager. Her last projects were setting up of two Assisted Living facilities for elderly one in Pune and one in Delhi. Seeing her own grandmother suffer from dementia has made her empathetic to elder care.

Dr.Nandhini Sathyamurthy – Head Elder Care Specialist.

She has Bachelors in Physiotherapy from MGR Medical University, Chennai and Certificate in sports Physiotherapy from SPAARC INSTITUTE,CHENNAI.She has worked in the Elder Care Industry , close to few years now and her volunteering experiences from younger age makes her be at ease with elderly to understand them and be a natural companion to them. Her grandmother had dementia; so she has personal experience in dealing with patients with dementia and has great patience and understanding towards the condition. She is friendly with the elderly and empathizes and deals with them comfortably. Her creative nature and interests in arts crafts and games, writing, ease with technology makes her loved companion with elderly. When she is not working, When she is free she likes to write and her blogs has been featured many times on mycity4kids.com. Her warm and inviting nature makes her everyone’s s best friend

Bhawna Dubey

Bhawna Dubey has done her Masters in English Literature from Ambedkar University Delhi. She has also done the teacher training course (B.Ed) from Delhi University. After spending 3 years with school children she wishes to see their dynamism and capability to wonder in our elderly. She has also done extensive theatre practice for more than 5 years. This helps her to enrich the sessions with activities focussing on the elderly ‘s physical, cognitive as well as emotional balance. As an Elder Care Specialist Bhawna has served the organization for more than a year now with elderly going through Parkinson’s, Dementia and acute depression. She wants to contribute further with more ideas that can make the elderly live a life of zest and dignity.

Dr Anjali Kadam

Dr Anjali kadam hails from mathura and now lives in delhi. She completed her studies from Jaipur national institute of medical science.By profession, she is a physiotherapist and now she has decided to give her time to the elderly. She loves spending time with them because she feels that elderly have a lifetime of experience to share and they are the wisest people in society. Anjali’s life mission is to spread love and joy and she does it by connecting with the elderly.

Sona Elizabeth

Sona has a postgraduate degree in Counselling Psychology from RGNIYD, Sriperumbudur. She has worked as a teacher as a part of a fellowship offered by Teach For India for 6 months and joined Elder Care out of her passion for the field of mental health. She is enthusiastic in understanding and helping with the mental well-being of people belonging to different age groups and this drew her focus towards the problems of elderly in India. Her training as a counselor makes her empathetic and understanding towards any difficulties faced by the elderly. She has worked with elderly diagnosed with cognitive impairments, dementia and severe anxiety. Her interest lies in travelling and reading. She loves philosophical and intellectual discussions.

Dr. Aasiya PT

Dr. Aasiya has a Bachelors in Physiotherapy from NIMS University, Jaipur and Certificate in Neurology Physiotherapy from Himalayan University. She has worked in the Elder Care Industry for close to few months and her volunteering experiences from younger age makes her be at ease with elderly to understand them and be a natural companion to them. Her grandmother had dementia and she has personal experience in dealing with patients with dementia and has great patience and understanding towards the condition. She is friendly with the elderly and empathizes and deals with them comfortably. Her creative nature and interests in arts crafts and games, writing, ease with technology makes her loved companion with elderly. When she is not working, Aasiya likes to spend her time reading books and going out. Her warm and inviting nature makes her everyone’s best friend.
